AUCTIONED IN EMILY MORGAN'S HOTEL IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS

Jesus Moron one of the participating artists in an auction held in the Emily Morgan Hotel May 13, 2011 was outstanding with his creation THREE ALAMOS an oil painting auctioned to benefit the Shertz Art League Curated by Karin Walker a prominent artist from NewYork.

A group of artists members of the Shertz Art League including Karin Walker, Jesus Moron, Ashlee Collins, Amyglasscock, Whitney Wiedner, Marcelino Villanueva, Jeffrey Hull and many other fine artists were exited to participate and celebrated the historical moments lived in the Alamo taken as the inspirational muse for this artistic event.

The Alamo's 175 anniversary was observed by the exhibiting artists, with great respect to the fallen heroes ans survivors taken prisoners by General Antonio Lopez de Santanna and General Almonte in that tragic nite. in 1836.

Historically the alamo also was taken April 2, 1813 by Col. Bernardo Gutierrez de Lara's Republicn army of the North who carried a Emerald Green Flag during the events that declared the FIRST TEXAS REPUBLIC April 6, 1813 and naming San Fernando de Bejar its first Capitol located in the Spanish Govrnor's Palace in front of the actual San Antonio's City Hall.

Stablished the first Republic of Texas, Don Bernardo raised the green flag and was the first Flag for Texas and actual San Antonio's acted as the first Texas Capital in 1813.

Rason why Jesus placed a green flag over the Alamo's building depicted in his painting is to enhance the epocs of the famous Mission of San Antonio de Valero. one, First flag was green during the Tex-Mex period, the secondalamo was the Lone Star Republic and the third one is the American Alamo as part of the United States.

Jesus Moron shows three different colors one to each Alamo signifing the three different times and three different epochs of the Heart of Texas Freedom.
